A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022 from 10:45am to approximately 3:15pm. There were a total of 109 children in care in the direct care of 17 staff members. During the inspection, the children and staff were observed participating in a variety of activities. Staff were observed having positive interactions with the children. All areas of the facility including classrooms, kitchen, hallways, playgrounds, and bathrooms were inspected. The center is equipped with toys and supplies and items were available to the children. The center provides transportation and buses were inspected for compliance. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. Medication is administered when required and medication and medication authorizations were reviewed. During the inspection, 10 children?s records and 10 staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations issued.
