An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 12/10/19. There were five children present with the provider and assistant supervising. The point total was 10. Two newly enrolled children's records were reviewed and four children's records were reviewed for annual updates only. The provider's record and the assistant's records were reviewed for annual training hours and updated first aid and CPR. The provider was reminded of the required three hour subsidy update training for Virginia Pre-service. No medications were at the home for the children in care.
The inspector arrived at the provider's home at 11:45 am and departed at 1:00 pm.
The children were observed during lunch, during TV time after lunch, and during nap time.
