Comments:
An announced staff record review inspection was conducted on 05/15/2024. A total of 5 staff records were reviewed. The inspector arrived at 9:00 am and departed at 10:55 am.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.
Based on observations and record review, the center failed to ensure that there shall be at least two staff members who hold a current CPR/first aid certification present on the premises during the center?s hours of operation, on fieldtrips, and wherever children are in care.
Evidence: Staff 2 was the only staff member with a current certification in CPR/first aid from approximately 2:40 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. during the 04/18/2024 on-site inspection.
Plan of Correction:
Will have the staff attend a class.
