Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:10am-11:55 am. There were 7children directly supervised by 2 caregivers. The home, 2 staff records, children?s records, household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed: transitioning from outside play, washing hands, dancing, discussing a snake and eating lunch. Diapering procedures were also observed. There was an ample supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on observation, food from home was not clearly labeled in a way that identifies owner.
Evidence- 3 Children's lunches from home did not have their name on their lunch boxes or containers.
Plan of Correction:
I will use tape to label the lunches with names.

Description:
Based on observation, furnishings in the home were not maintained in a clean/ safe condition.
Evidence: There was peeling paint on the upper edges of a crib in the nap room.

I tried to paint. I will buy strip to cover up.

Description:
Based on observation, equipment was not used in accordance with manufacture's instructions.
Evidence: 1 child was placed in a highchair for lunch time and the lap strap was not connected.
