Guidance, resources, model forms and training links can be found on the updated Licensing website https://www.childcare.virginia.gov/home-childcare. The renewal application will need to be submitted through the on-line portal. A reference guide is on the CDC link.To ensure timely processing, you must submit a complete renewal application to the Office of Child Care Health and Safety at least 60 days prior to the expiration date of the current license. A complete renewal application includes the following forms and required attachments. Please note that application fees are not being collected by the department through June 2024.

An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted. Three classrooms fall under the license-2 primary and the Toddler/YCC class. No children were in care as it was a Teacher Workday. Observed physical space, records for a child from each class, five emergency medications, emergency preparation and 2 new staff records. Multiple staff have MAT certification, Daily Health Observation, First Aid and CPR certification. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
