A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on September 6, 2022 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 92 children were in care with 14 supervising staff members present. Children were observed during diapering, handwashing, eating snack, bottle feeding, and engaged in group activities. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice
Based on record review and interview, the vendor did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: 1. Each classroom in the center did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance. 2. Staff #6 confirmed that each classroom did not maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
Plan of Correction:
Moving forward, the center will maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs.
