This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A complaint inspection was initiated on February 16, 2021 and concluded on March 2, 2021. A complaint incident was received by the department regarding allegations in the areas of ratio, staff qualifications, and other areas not addressed by the standards. The provider was contacted by remote, virtual communication to conduct the investigation. The inspector viewed applicable documentation required to complete the investigation and interviewed staff.
The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation of non-compliance with standards or law.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
