Comments:
The Licensing Inspector for Ms. Garnetta Deshazor-Bennett conducted an unannounced Renewal Inspection reviewing the Voluntary Registration requirements on Tuesday, January 28, 2020. LI Anderson arrived & started inspection at 12:05 PM. There were four 2 year old children present during the inspection. The Licensing Inspector reviewed six (6) children records & two (2) staff/household records. Areas of non-compliance were reviewed with Vendor during the exit interview on 1/28/2020. Based on record review, the Provider failed to ensure required Fingerprint Background Checks are completed for each staff person and each adult who resides in the home.
EVIDENCE: Licensing Inspector reviewed two (2) staff and household member records. Records for staff and household members #1 and #2 did not include documentation of the Fingerprint Background Checks.
Plan of Correction:
The program will send documentation to the Licensing Inspector that the background checks have been requested no later than 10 days following this notification date (1/28/2020).
