Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on February 10, 2021and concluded on February 10, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were three (6pts) children present and one caregiver. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed two children?s records and two staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Based on record review and interview, the provider did not obtain subsequent tuberculosis screening every two years from the date of screening for caregivers.
Evidence: 1. Caregiver #1's record did not contain documentation of a current Tuberculosis screening. The record contain a TB screening that was dated 7/25/18. 2. Caregiver #1 stated that she did not obtain a current Tuberculosis screening.
Plan of Correction:
The provider will make an appointment to get a Tuberculosis screening with the Health Department.
