Technical Assistance:
Consultation was given on ensuring occupied crib has a tightly fitted sheet.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today. Four children were in care for eight points with one caregiver which is within ratios for supervision. Children were observed eating lunch (chicken with rice and tomatoes, bananas and milk. Reviewed two children's records, physical space, emergency preparation and sanitizing properly due to COVID_19 concerns. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Based on observation, child resistant protective covers are not installed in all unused outlets in the daycare and kitchen space, Evidence: 6 outlets covers were missing throughout the daycare space.
Plan of Correction:
Outlet covers will be replaced.
