The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The Director was contacted virtually via Zoom meeting. A total of 52 children with 9 staff were present in the classrooms. Observation of all 5 classrooms and the playground was made. All staff were observed wearing masks and practicing Covid protocols. The children were observed transitioning from the Toddler 1 class to the playground, staff were positioned in the front and also the back of the line to ensure adequate supervision on the way to outside. Mother's Day boards and paper plate peacock artwork completed by the children were on display. Medication and attendance records for each class was reviewed. A total of 2 children's records and 2 new staff records along with emergency evacuation drills and county inspections were reviewed. Thank you for your cooperation with this inspection process.
