Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on March 4, 2021 and concluded on March 5, 2021. The provider was contacted by video call to initiate the inspection. There were 11 children present and 3 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Based on review of three staff records, two do not contain the required documentation. Evidence: The records for staff members 1 and 2 do not contain: verification of age, job title, date of employment, and emergency contact.

I sent in the central registry documentation in October 2020, but have not received the results. I will follow up today and send the inspector the results.
