Operational Responsibilities regarding enrollment of children whom may require action plans and the need to document activities and incidents that best help facilitate care and supervision in group care settings.
Also discussed, confidentiality when discussing child info and working with staff and parents to best accomidate children enrolled in programs.
If contractors provide care on-site what documentation is required and parent consent.
Enrollment forms are currently being revised to clarify language regarding Authorization for emergency medical treatment, medication policies and enrollment information to request from parents as needed.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:30am-1:00 pm. There were 26 children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, 4 children?s records, medications (policies), evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, reading books, playing games, and eating snack. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. The children were observed preparing to go on a fieldtrip and boarding the vans. There was an abudant supply of materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
Based on record review, child record was found to be incomplete.
Evidence: Child A's record was found to missing adress of emergency contact #2.
Plan of Correction:
Child has left the program.
