A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on May 4, 2023, and concluded on May 8, 2023. There were 12 children present with two staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review, the subsidy vendor did not have one of the two staff current certifications in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care. Evidence: 1. Staff #1 (Employed:09/11/17) did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
