Comments:
An unannounced Monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were a total of 18 children with 4 staff. Only one classroom was occupied during the inspection. A walk thru and staff interviews were conducted. The children were observed either sleeping or laying quietly on their cots with staff strategically placed throughout the classroom to ensure adequate supervision.
A complete inspection of the physical plant, records, fire drill log, and emergency procedures was conducted during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined one non-compliance with applicable standards or law and the violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program. The previous violations found during the last inspection were reviewed and corrective actions were verified. This inspection occurred between1pm and 2:15pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov.
