A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 09/20/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:50am-12:15pm. There were 4 children (9 points) directly supervised by the provider. The home, 1 staff record, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Provider has exceeds the required 16 hours of training hours for this year, she has 54 hours of training.
There were no medications on site today. Children were observed learning letters, counting and learning numbers, playing dress up, playing with small manipulative toys, playing with pretend kitchen items, and eating snack. Today's snack consisted of corn chips and avocado. Hand washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. There were no violations observed during today's inspections.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
