Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 7/27/2022 from 10:00am-12:32pm. There were 22 children supervised by 7 direct care staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play and playing outside. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Based on record review and staff interview, the center did not obtain the results of an out of state child abuse and neglect registry for an employee within 45 days of employment, from any state in which an employee has resided in the preceding five years.
Evidence: Staff #1 did not have documentation of an out-of-state child abuse and neglect registry check within 45 days of employment. Date of employment 4/21/22.
