Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/30/2023 between 10:30 am & 12:45 pm; there were 16 children with 7 staff member. Physical plant, staff and children records, injury reports, and emergency procedures were reviewed along with the supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted on the date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Based on a review of records, all staff did not have current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) appropriate to the ages of children in care within 90 days of employment.
Evidence: Staff #1 (hired 9/13/22), staff #2 (hired 9/16/22), and staff #4 (hired 9/13/22) did not have documentation of current CPR certification.
