Comments:
An in person monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 7 children (24 points) with 3 caregivers present. 1 child record was reviewed. Children were observed playing outdoors and with age appropriate toys indoors. See Violation Notice for non-compliances.
The inspection report will be typed off site and emailed for signatures to the provider. LI was present today from 10:40 AM - 11:15 AM.
The Provisional License period is a time to demonstrate compliance with regulations.

Based on provider statement, an Over-The-Counter (OTC) medication was administered to a child without written authorization from the parent. Evidence: Provider stated there was no written authorization for "Gas Drops" that was being administered to a child (Child 1).

I will have the parent fill out the authorization form.
