Technical Assistance:
Discussed with provider: Medication present in the home has no authorization available for review. While the medication has not been administered, you should not accept medication without the proper coordinating documents. Model forms were given to the provider for Child and staff records, emergency evacuation drills.
Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There are 9 children present (29 points) with 4 caregivers. 4 child and 3 adult/caregiver/household records were reviewed. Children were observed playing outdoors, washing hands and eating lunch. Emergency evacuation drills, fridge/freezer temperatures. first aid supplies, emergency supplies, menu and bathroom supplies were all in compliance. See Violation Notice for non-compliances cited today. LI was present today from 11:05AM - 12:24 PM. Based on a review of records, one staff record does not contain documentation of a repeated nationwide fingerprint search within the allowable 5 year time frame. Evidence: Staff A's nationwide fingerprint search results are dated 2-22-2018. (expired 2/22/2023)
