Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 2/9/23. The center had 20 preschoolers present and 13 school age children. The children were observed playing on the playground. Lunch was observed after playground play. The older children were learning about liquids and playing with sculpy. Interaction between staff and children observed. 5 staff present in the two groupings. The center has lots of supplies for the children to explore. Discussed new board members and the need for background checks for them, this must be submitted with the renewal. A violation notice was given to the center along with this visit summary. Based on the review of children's records, the center failed to get one child's physical. Evidence: Based on the review of 3 children's files , one file, child 3, is missing the physical.
