Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program. A renewal inspection was initiated on 09/13/2021 and concluded on 09/20/2021. The in-charge person was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 22 children present and 9 staff. The inspector emailed the in-charge person a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (#) children?s records and (#) staff records, along with any requested program records submitted by the facility to determine if required documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation the center did not ensure all areas and equipment of the center were maintained in a safe condition. Evidence: There was rust on an exit door in the daycare.
Plan of Correction:
The rust will be removed from the door.
