Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted on November 21, 2019. The on-site inspection was held from 10:40 a.m. to 4:05 p.m. At the time of arrival, there were 70 children in the care of 13 staff members in six classrooms. There were three extra staff members available to assist, if needed. There were a total of 75 children enrolled in the program. Seven children's records and eight staff members' records were reviewed. Nine staff members and five children were interviewed. All six classrooms were toured and three of those classrooms were observed. There was no medication on-site or being administered at the time of the inspection. There were no violations of the licensing standards. Lunch was observed to meet the USDA guidelines. Some of the items reviewed and observed were: evacuation, lock down, and shelter-in-place drills, injury reports, current health and fire inspections, required posted information, warm water temperature, first-aid kit and emergency supplies, outdoor play, transitions, choice time, center time, music activities, lunch, infant feeding, infant care, diapering procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, nap, and dismissal procedures.
