An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on January 4, 2023 from approximately 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The provider and substitute provider were on site and available during the inspection. There were 6 children in attendance. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, household members, physical environment and equipment, emergencies, caregiver training, preventing the spread of disease and nutrition. The provider record, substitute record, and 6 children?s records were reviewed. All areas of the home were observed and areas where the children are cared for were inspected. The children were observed taking a nap while the inspector was at the home.
A complete licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in the licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
