Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/20/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 43 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 9 staff. Children were observed at parent drop off, participating in group play, reading books, participating in circle time and eating snack. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Based on record review, the vendor did not ensure that three staff annually completed the department's health and safety update course as required.
