Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 9/06/2023 from 11:00am-2:30pm. There were 46 children directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed eating lunch and during story-time. Handwashing procedures were also observed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on record review, a fingerprint based criminal history record check was not obtained every 5 years as required for 1 of 5 staff reviewed.
Evidence: 1. The fingerprint check results in the record for Staff #1 were dated 8/15/2023, more than 5 years from the previous results dated 2/6/2018.
