An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted Thursday, October 31, 2019 to determine the center's compliance with religious exempt requirements. The inspection was initiated at approximately 8:55 AM and concluded at approximately 11:45 AM. A total of 91 children were present during the inspection and the following staff to child ratios were observed:
Babies: 3 children and 2 staff
Almost Twos: 5 children and 2 staff
Twos: 8 children and 3 staff
Twos: 5 children and 2 staff
First Step: 6 children and 2 staff
Threes: 6 children and 2 staff
Threes: 10 children and 2 staff
Threes: 12 children and 2 staff
Pre-K: 12 children and 2 staff
Pre-K: 12 children and 2 staff
Pre-K: 12 children and 2 staff
Children were observed playing with toys, making pumpkins, building with blocks, building with Lincoln logs, creating mummies, working with pattern blocks, playing in a sensory table, playing with play-doh, working puzzles, playing with slime, painting, building a marble maze, making butter, playing outside, washing hands and taking bathroom breaks and eating snack. Ten children?s records and 10 staff records were reviewed. All areas of the center were inspected including the classrooms, hallways, bathrooms and outdoor play areas. Transportation is not provided.
