Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conduced today between 10:00 am and 11:30 am. there were 6 children present (16 pts.) with 2 caregivers. The children were observed playing with floor toys and reading books. Handwashing was also observed. Interactions between children and caregivers seemed positive. The physical plant, attendance logs, evacuation logs, emergency plans, menu's. cribs, children's records, caregiver's records, household member records and emergency supplies were inspected. There were no medications on site. Areas of non compliance were cited on the violation notice. Based on a review of child records, the provider failed to obtain the information for a second emergency contact.
Evidence: Child #1 only has contact information for one emergency contact.
Plan of Correction:
I will request the information from the parents today.
