Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted 1/11/2023 between the hours of 9:30am through 10:30am. There were a total of 8 children present, ranging in age from 4 years to 5 years (15oints) with the Provider. A total of 5 children?s files, 1 staff file, 2 household member?s files and 3 pet files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: listening to story time, practicing writing the alphabet, and playing outside. Positive interactions between the provider and children were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the programming space, children and staff records, emergency drills, attendance, and emergency procedures were completed today. No new staff have been hired since the last inspection. The provider advised there was no medication on site today. There was an abundant supply of age appropriate materials and toys. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, the provider did not ensure that children's records contained all required information.
Evidence: Child #5's record did not contain written authorization for emergency medical care should an emergency occur and the parent cannot be located immediately.
