Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 02/25/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 12pm-2pm. There were 13 children in the direct care and supervision of 2 staff. A sample of 5 children?s records, 2 staff records, 5 minor injury logs and 3 medications were reviewed. The children were observed eating lunch, washing hands, singing and napping. There will be a meeting with staff at the school tomorrow. Zero new staff have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Based on observation, the evacuation procedures were missing procedures to address reuniting children with a parent or an authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child.
Evidence: The evacuation procedures did not have a reunification plan.
