A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted today to review supplemental health and safety requirements not covered in the licensing regulations. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date, and the two inspections combined cover all SHSI requirements. Based on record review, 1 of 2 staff records reviewed did not contain documentation to certify that a staff member had completed the Virginia Preservice Training within the first 90 days of employment.
Evidence: Staff #1 had documentation of completing update trainings for the preservice, but no documentation was located for the 10 hour Preservice training.
