Comments:
A monitoring inspection was completed from 11:15 until 1:15pm. There were 11 children present with 3 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on observation, the center did have the required depth of resilient surfacing on the playground. Evidence: The mulch around the slides was approximately 3-4 inches.
Plan of Correction:
Mulch has been ordered and the required depth will be placed around the moving equipment.
