This inspection was conducted virtually by licensing staff, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The licensee submitted a request to modify the current license due to a change of location.
An announced modification inspection was initiated on September 25, 2020 and concluded on September 25, 2020. The director was contacted by video conference to initiate the inspection. All designated areas and furnishings for child care were toured virtually. Other areas and items reviewed during the inspection include: required posted information, parent pick-up/drop off procedures, emergency maps and exits, storage areas, kitchen, and restrooms. The requested capacity of 20 children will be recommended. Capacity is supported by the submitted floor plans, observations of the areas of use, and the certificate of occupancy. The ages served will be 3 years to 6 years, 11 months. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
