The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Only one new staff since the last inspection. All remaining staff and household members' background checks remain current at this time.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The provider was contacted via Facetime to complete the inspection. A total of 9 children (24pts) with Provider and 1 Assistant present. Observation of the family day home was made to include the program space, crib room, diapering area and bathroom. A total of 2 children's records and 1 new staff record was reviewed. The children were observed celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday. They were seated at the table eating "green eggs" for Dr.Seuss, meatballs, pasta and fruit. Staff were observed sitting with the children while they ate. All staff were wearing masks, all children over the age of 2 also wear masks. Discussed the parent drop off and pick up protocol to protect against Covid-19. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection process.
