This inspection was completed by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 10/28/2020 and concluded on 11/05/2020. The Licensing Manager was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children in care as the facility has been closed since 03/16/2020. The physical plant and outdoor play area was reviewed.
The inspector emailed the Licensing Manager a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed four children's records and four staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was completed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the Licensing Manager COVID-19 Essential Guide for Child Care Programs.
