Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted along with Licensing Inspector Donna Liberman on 09/13/2023 from 9:30 a.m. ? 10:30 a.m. There were four children (one day care child and three family children) present with the provider during the inspection for a total of six points. The health and safety checklist items, posted documentation, first aid kit, flashlight, monthly evacuation drills, meals, snacks, naptime and safe sleep routines, indoor play areas, and handwashing were reviewed. One child record and two provider/household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please provide a corrective action plan, that describes the standard not met, the action to be taken to meet it and the date by which it shall be completed, with your signature, by 5 p.m. on 9/22/23. Based on record review, it was determined that not all enrolled children had a signed statement from the parent affirming receipt of the "Information to Parents" statement.
Evidence: The record for Child #1, with a start date of 11/1/19, did not contain documentation of a signed statement affirming receipt of the "Information to Parents.?

There is a signed statement affirming parents have received the "Information to Parents" statement in each child's contract.

Description:
Based on review of documentation and interview, the provider was not in compliance with the criteria on the health and safety checklist.
Evidence: The provider did not practice emergency evacuation drills monthly, as required. There were no documented evacuation drills between June, 2022 and August 2023.

Monthly fire drills will be conducted during business hours
