Comments:
An unannounced renewal visit was conducted today. There was one child present (3 points) with one caregiver. The child was observed playing with a variety of toys. 2 caregiver/household member records were reviewed. Both were complete. 1 child record was reviewed. See Violation Notice for non-compliances cited.
The fridge temperature, working phone, backyard play space, outlets capped in the day care area, barriers to prevent access to stairs and bathroom supplies were all in compliance.

Description:
Based on a review of the health and safety checklist, all criteria was not met. Evidence: Missing items included; *Documentation of practiced monthly emergency evacuation drills. *An operable flashlight and working thermometer.
Plan of Correction:
I will replace the batteries in the flashlight and thermometer. I will resume practicing and documenting emergency evacuations.
