Consultation was given on the center clarifying the addendum (dated 10/2021) that was sent to parents at the height of the COVID outbreak. Per DOE guidance, parents or guardians can not be prohibited form entering a childcare facility when their child is present under VA Code (Section 22.1-289.054). The center administration has stated that infant parents enter daily, when a parent is picking up a sick child and if any parent has communicated that they wish to enter the center.

An allegation concerning center operational responsibilities was received. The inspection was investigated using remote protocols including on-line interviews, record review and a review of emails. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
