A monitoring inspection was initiated on February 28, 2024 at 2:20 pm until 3:43 pm at the center and concluded on March 4, 2024 after all staff records were reviewed. During the inspection, there were 52 children in care in 3 groups and 5 staff were present supervising children in care. The children were observed in the afterschool designated areas interacting with peers and staff, eating snack, working on homework, participating in age appropriate activities such as Simon says, transitioning outside to outdoor playground area, and parent pick up . The sample size was 5 staff records.
Based on observation and interview, the center did not ensure certification that the child day center has disclosed in writing to the parents or guardians of the children in the center the fact that it is exempt from licensure and has posted the fact that it is exempt from licensure in a visible location on the premises.
Evidence: During the inspection, there was no documentation of the fact that it is exempt from licensure observed in a visible location on the premises. Interview with staff confirmed documentation was not posted at this time.
