Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on March 1, 2023. There were 172 children present, with 24 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 8 child records and 7 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on review of staff records, each staff member did not submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis (TB) screening.
Evidence Staff #1 (doh 2/10/23) did not submit documentation of a negative TB screening.

Staff will have the TB completed by Monday. We will make sure all staff have TB before their first day.

Description:
Based on observation, the diapering surface is not being cleaned and sanitized after each diapering. Evidence The diapering surface is not being cleaned with soap and water and sanitized with bleach and water after each diapering in the Discovery A and Exploration B classrooms. The surface is only being sanitized after each use.
Plan of Correction:
I will retrain each staff member involved today on the proper procedure for cleaning and sanitizing the diapering surface. All staff will be retrained at a staff meeting on March 15, 2023.
