An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 2:00 p.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m. with the provider and assistant. There were 10 children in care ranging in age from four months through four years of age for a total of twenty-two points. Children were observed napping at the beginning of the inspection. At the end of nap, children began waking and had bathroom/diapering time. An infant was observed sleeping and then waking and being fed a bottle. After bathroom time, children washed hands and prepared for afternoon snack. Snack today was graham crackers and milk.
Four children's records, one household member record and two caregiver records were reviewed. One pet record was reviewed. The provider completed 49 hours of training for the 2017-2018 license year and 23 hours of training for the 2018-2019 license year for a total of 72 hours. The provider is not currently Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medications to children in care.
