Comments:
This renewal inspection of a Voluntary Registered Family Day Home (VR-FDH) was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 06/26/2024. At the time of inspection, there were 4 children present. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of found on the Health and Safety Checklist and background checks. Four child records were reviewed as well as 1 vendor record and 1 household member. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on a review of documentation, the vendor did not have repeat background checks completed every 5 years. Evidence: Caregiver #1 had a fingerprint check that expired on 5/18/2023.
Plan of Correction:
Verification of completed fingerprints was done. Waiting on the results to come back.
