A monitoring inspection was concluded on 01/05/2022 as a result of a self report made on 12/20/2022. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on record review and interview the licensee did not ensure information contained in a child's record was confidential and not distributed or released to any unauthorized person without the written consent of the child's parent.
Evidence: 1. Child #1 was enrolled on 02/28/2022. In the child's record was a written statement signed by the child's parent on 02/14/2022 declining the permission to post Child #1's picture on the "facility website," which is a private social media platform. 2. The licensee disclosed posting the child's picture on the facility website on more than 1 occasion.
Plan of Correction:
The licensee has taken every picture of the child off of the private social media page and has apologized to the parent. All photo permission forms have been reviewed.
