A subsidy inspection was conducted on 01/18/2023. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Based on a record review the vendor did not ensure all staff who work directly with children had the department's health and safety update course. Evidence: Staff #2, hired 09/14/20, did not have documentation of completing the department's 3 hour Pre-Service Health and Safety Training update course.
Plan of Correction:
Staff have been asked to complete required courses. Director will remind staff again and follow-up for completion.
