Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on March 9, 2023 between the hours of 9:15am and 10:22am. There were 11 children present with 3 staff supervising within the supervision guidelines. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies, evacuation drill logs, children and staff records, and first aid supplies. There was no medication on sight at the time of the inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on record review and interview, the center failed to implement a monthly practice evacuation drill. Evidence: 1. The evacuation drill did not have documentation a drill was practiced during the month of December 2022. 2. The director acknowledged the drill was not practiced during December 2022 due to the center being closed for the last 2 weeks of the month.

I will ensure drills are practiced each month.
