Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 2/27/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The inspector arrived 10:15 AM and departed at 1:30 PM. Twenty-one children were in care. A sample size of three staff records and five children's records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
based upon observation and staff interview, the facility has not ensured that they maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care in each group as it occurs. Evidence: 1. The attendance record in the infant classroom did not have any of the three infants in attendance recorded as being present. 2. Staff 1 acknowledged that the infant attendance record had not been kept for today.
Plan of Correction:
The facility responded with the following: We thought the parent sign n and sign out sheet would meet this requirements. We will begin keeping a daily attendance record for each grouping of children on which the arrival and departure of each children into and out of the grouping will be recorded.
