Technical Assistance:
Diagnosed children's allergies, dietary restrictions and dietary preferences were discussed with the program director.

Comments:
A monitoring inspection was conducted on 12/8/2022. There were 9 children present, ranging in ages from 2 yrs to 4 yrs, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 3 child records and 2 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the facility and discussed with the program director during the exit interview.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-780-60-A
Description: Based upon review of children's records, the facility has not ensured that each child's record includes the required information about parents.
Evidence:
The record provided for child 2 did not include any information regarding the father.

Plan of Correction: The program director provided the following during the exit interview:
We will ensure that we obtain as much information as possible regarding both parents of each child to assist us in ensuring the safety of each child.
