This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A virtual inspection was conducted on February 10 and February 16, 2021 regarding a complaint which was received in the Central Licensing Office on January 19, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. At the time of call there were 45 children present and in the care of seven staff members with two additional staff members available to assist, if needed. Four staff members were interviewed. One staff member's record was reviewed. The complaint was regarding Part II and Part V of the Child Day Center Licensing Standards. The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation and the complaint disposition was, therefore, "not valid." There were no violations of the licensing standards cited.
