As discussed, the playground area's equipment will not be used by the licensed program. Areas of the playground space to be used for programming is limited to the picnic/bench area.

Comments:
An announced non-mandated inspection was conducted this date. Licensing Inspector met with Administrative staff to evaluate the new space for the upcoming fall school year. Observation and inspection of all 5 classrooms, the gym and the outside playground and turf area was made. Measurements of programming space were completed. Determination of adequate number of bathrooms and sinks was made. Areas of the standards were reviewed today were primarily physical plant requirements. No children in care at this time. Based on observation of the classrooms, two areas were found not safe.
Evidence: Peeling paint was found in Classrooms #135 and #141 have areas with peeling paint on the walls that are accessible to children. Blind cords were not attached to the wall, some of the hardware and screws were accessible to children.
Plan of Correction:
The repairs of these areas will be completed prior to school starting.
