Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 11:00am-12:35pm. There were 7 children (21 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Per provider, there were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely, practicing letters and numbers and preparing for lunch. There was an adequate supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on review of Assistant records it was determined that all required information for assistants was not maintained.
During inspection the following required information for the assistant present and caring for children was not available: Date of Employment or volunteering, Emergency contact, documentation of 1 of 2 required references, Background checks , Current TB screening and orientation to position

This was an emergency because my usual assistant traveled out of town. I will work to get the information.
